The history of my carpal tunnel syndrome and how I managed a recurrence from November 2021 through January 2022.
My bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome recurred in mid-November 2021 and worsened through December 2021. The symptoms in my hands came under control in mid-January 2022 with conservative treatment and addition of an Apple Magic Trackpad 2 to my desktop setup.
My fasting blood glucose level was 5.6 mmol/L, or 100 mg/dL, on July 6, 2021 and on October 5, 2021. This level is at the lower limit of the American Diabetes Association’s range for diagnosing impaired fasting glucose.
With diet modification, moderate exercise, and liver supplements over the past 3 months, my liver enzymes are back to normal.
In July 2021, my fasting sugar level was borderline, liver enzymes were mildly elevated, and I had put on 3.5 kg in weight.
I suffered a clinical relapse of ulcerative colitis in January 2021.
As at July 15, 2020, my ulcerative colitis was in clinical, endoscopic, and histologic remission.
My strategy to prevent or mitigate symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome is multipronged: medications, tailored diet plan, exercise, and stress management.
A self-limited episode of urinary hesitancy, urinary retention, dysuria, erectile dysfunction, and raised PSA level following a moderate level of road cycling.
My diagnosis of ulcerative colitis was based on clinical history, colonoscopy and CT scan findings, and response to treatment; histopathology was equivocal.
