Kinesis Advantage360 keyboard - Dye-Subbed PBT (QWERTY layout)

The Kinesis Advantage360 keyboard is now on sale, a few hours earlier than the time previously announced by Kinesis.

  • Smartset USB – Dye-Subbed PBT (QWERTY) – $399
  • Smartset USB – Dye-Subbed PBT (DVORAK) – $399
  • ZMK Bluetooth – ABS Shine-Through (QWERTY) – $439
  • ZMK Bluetooth – Dye-Subbed PBT (QWERTY) – $439
  • ZMK Bluetooth – Dye-Subbed PBT (DVORAK) – $439
  • Magnetic palm pads – $25

The pricing is within my expectation.

Based on the sales copy on Drop, the “bridge connector piece (for the traditional Advantage separation)” might not be adjustable, i.e. separation between the Advantage360 modules’ keywells is the same as that between the keywells of the Advantage2, without the option of moving the Advantage360 modules closer or farther apart from each other (while also keeping them fixed/immobile relative to each other by the bridge connector).

The estimated ship date of May 10, 2022 means a wait of several months – a little annoying but this per se won’t deter me from placing an order.
